For almost as long as I’ve known Will he’s had the best T shirts. Really. The best. Truly spectacular. There are a lot of great online resources for people who really like to turn heads with what they wear and now we can announce that we’ve jumped into the fray with our own brand new website.
Please welcome Inked Up Shirts and visit our website here.
We’re just starting out but have tapped in to our network of friends from around the world who also happen to be talented artists and designers. We’ll be featuring artwork and designs that challenge the status quo, might spark a conversation, or even get you punched in the face.
Regardless, these T shirts will make a statement, a statement like this. Inspired by the beauty of Arabic script I conceptualized a design that incorporated the Arabic word for peace with the traditionally recognized symbol for peace. Salaam is a traditional greeting in Arabic but also means “peace be upon you”. That is what I had in mind with this design and we hired a wonderful Egyptian artist to bring it to life. You can find this in black or red on a variety of background colors at Inked Up Shirts.
Inked Up Shirts is just in its infancy but as we continue to explore more ideas and work with more designers we fully expect to bring our core message to more and more people every day.
Make a statement. Now more than ever art needs to challenge, art needs to have a voice, and art needs to inspire and motivate us all so why not wear it?
If you want to follow Inked Up Shirts on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram we’d be thrilled to have you along for the ride plus you’ll get notified when new designs are available, have first access to sales and special offers, and read the blog posts that will delve into the nature of art and its impact on our society.
In the meantime, give salaam a chance. And Inked Up Shirts as well.
